  1. Dubbed Marley says:

Not too sure about the world ending but it sure as hell is going to have changed after Below The Lion organise me a ticket to the Village so I may be set free to plough the land to some of the most psychedelic beats known to man. Peace*

  2. Monique Vermeulen says:

Mmm, not too sure about the world ending hey…
But the year will definitely end… with a BANG when we’ve attended the Village!

  3. Changeisgood says:

If anything, it will change! The world is already changing, and as each year that passes we together move towards a critical mass; where too many of us start asking questions and questioning what is already here (and why marijuana is illegal ofcourse!), and move together towards a collective spiritual consciousness and break away from this world run by consumerism, greed, power and money and move towards a society run by Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. So it’s just a matter of time! :) And 2012 is a step in that direction, and one step closer!

  4. Dev says:

There will definitely be a big change, we all hope for the better! :)

  5. Jenna says:

The world as it is today will most probably go through a change of some sort, some say its the end of a dawn and the beginning of the golden age I say its the end of the 2012 year and time for some good old stomping session at my favorite venue. Sun glazing on my skin, sick beats playing, good positive energy from the crowds, and my toes in the mud. IF the world ends…. what better way to go… than to be at VILLAGE!

  6. Lexi says:

I don’t believe it’s going to end (yet, but shouldn’t be too long if people don’t stop effing up out poor planet), but I’m sure it’ll change… it may seem irrational, but people have had that slight wonder in their minds about ‘what if’ and when that’s gone, I’m sure everyone is going to act differently… hopefully for the better! [ maybe all this YOLO crap will die out! ]

  7. tarryn says:

Hmmm well no!! I heard that the Myans didn’t have leap years in their calenders so I think according to their calenders we would be in November/December of 2013 already!! So if the world was to end then I think it wouldve already haha!! HOWEVER, I will still be attending as many parties as I can, just in case… And I will even attend a few “End Of The World” parties so at least I’ll be happy and having a good time if it does actually end! I will be VERY upset if the world had to end and I missed this party :( I have yet to attend any of The Village parties.. Very bleak!! Help a lady out and stop the FOMO <3

  8. Christopher says:

I do not believe the world will end, but I know there will be some changes. I hope one of the changes are the legalization of hemp produce in South Africa. More jobs, more money, more resources more………..the list goes on. Village will also change my life if you decide to give me a ticket ;) .

  9. Aj says:

IF the world ends, it will end with a zombie apocalypse. which i think is pretty damn awesome. BUT if it doesn’t I’d say we’ll all be witnesses to the legalization of marijuana :D F*CK YEAH! also, my mom attended the last village and said she’ll attend this one if there isnt an apocalypse ;)

  10. Mant says:

The world will end! not in the way they predict in TV shows and movies. The golden age is coming and so is village when we stomp together we produce positive energy which will flow and fill our planet until everyone is joined in a spiritual energetic happiness that flows amongst all. that is when the world will end wars will stop! people will feel loved and want to love and the world we once knew would have ended and true happiness/love/vibez/energy rules!

  11. Shana Grobler says:

mmmmmmm. That is a good question. I dont think the world is going to end at the end of this year. There have been too many predictions and we are still here :) But if the world is going to end the end of 2012 I think you have to let me win a ticket to The Village coz I wouldve missed the party of the year AND I wont even be able to go next year coz we will be dead?????????? So just in case lol a ticket to Village would be awsooooooooooome :)

  12. Julian Schnehage says:

I think it will definitely change, probably not supernaturally although I am not ruling that out but so many people have been exposed to the idea that it will definitely influence the decisions of people even if it is just a subconscious choice to party a hell of a lot harder in case it all comes tumbling down.

  13. Catherine says:

The world is supposed to end on the 21st December 2012 right? Well, that’s also my birthday! So I believe that we’re going to have such an epic crazy insane party, that the World won’t be able to handle it. However, my party will also be spreading so much peace and love throughout Cape Town, that maybe the World will be healed and not end. Either way, it can’t help to protect and respect our planet, and what better way to do that is there than attending The Village, and spending our last (hopefully not) days showing Mother Earth how much we love her, by becoming one with the environment and planet as we stomp positive energy into the core, with every magical beat.
    <3

  14. Steven says:

Well, it’s quite nice seeing what seems to be an increased level of consciousness pervading the world. However, I don’t believe in any incoming apocalypse. Far too many people overestimate the importance of the minuscule speck on the timeline of the life of this planet that they exist for.

The earth is going to continue to exist for far longer than the human race. We can only hope that we generally improve our behaviour as a species before we do too much damage to the other life forms that share the space with us.

  15. Wilbur says:

    Will not end or change.

  16. Ross says:

There world is far away from ending.. and i don’t think it will change in anyway that is noticeable to us humans! The Mayans were intelligent and understood the sky in a way we cant imagine, so until we can bring them back and find out WTF was the deal with the calendar ..its gonna keep us all guessing!! VILLAGE!!!!!

  17. Candi says:

The World is not ending anytime soon, it may change, and people may change. I think that its the people that will make the World change, bringing more gees peace and love to the World :) bringing us our ultra Village!!

  18. With life being as fragile as it is, we should all hope for change. Like the phoenix, which dies and gets reborn again. Becoming new, fresh, free from disease, free from decay, free from the shackles that we have inherited from the past, maybe as humans we need everything to end so we can start over. Going back to the simpler times, times when man discovered things, actually went out and looked around, grew as both a person and collectively as the human race, what happened to the times when man had the beat in his heart and all of nature as his orchestra. Music is all around us, beauty is all around us, its time we all embrace it and spread the love, and if the world should end one day, at least we will all go out stomping, spreading the love even in the face of death, because even in death there is beauty and peace. Do what makes you happy and spread love throughout your last days. Stomp <3 smile <3 embrace <3

  19. Matt Prins says:

The world will most certainly end, who can imagine a world without R Patz and K Stew together.
I feel this really expresses my true emotions towards the matter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuwgoIFgQpY
However, my world will end early without those tickets :’(

  22. Rolandi says:

Change: YeS (sometimes change is good)
    End : No
sO LeTs JusT eNjOy NOW….. & hopefully ill see yous all at ViLLaGe!

  23. Jannes says:

I think the world will end in 2012… On Sunday 14th October 2012. As the clock strikes 12 Saturday night it will be my birthday and I will STOMP so hard, the world will crumble under my feet. I’m giving my apologies in advance for ending the world on this day.

  24. Damian says:

well the world obviously wont end for the simple reason that I, along with many others, have recently discovered trance music and psychedelics, and I doubt that the world is so evil that it would give us a taste of the best music and feeling in the world and then just end. Thats just wrong.

  25. francois says:

I don’t think that the world will end at the end of the year but something big is going to happen like the Japanese are going to leave earth or all technology is going to crash. WHOA mind blowing!!!!

  26. PeppermintJam says:

    It will end. :-(

  27. Oliver Harrison says:

My brother is in fact making a film on that exact topic.
There are a lot of different conspiracies and theories of changes that will occur in 2012.

My prediction: We’ll just have to wait and see, although, maybe the world needs some drastic change.

  28. Carl says:

No the world will not end at the end of this year, but people will deffinately have to change, as the energy on the planet is calling for us to raise our vibration. Its time to step up to the next level of our spiritual evolution and do everything we can to prevent the apocolypse from occuring in the next 30-40 years. I read an article in the newspaper over the weekend that claimed that in the next 20 years, 30million people will loose their lives due to the effects climate change has on food security.

So it is everyones responsibility to live sustainably, inspire others around them AND most importantly BRING THE GEES! so hopefully in the next few years, the Village wont be restricted to just one valley, but a GLOBAL community of like-minded people, motivated to inspire positive change in others! I AM Awakening To My Mission….. are you????

  29. pixii says:

i dont think the world will end… can a planet just end?? we wont die out like a star, there are waaay too many bright and wonderful characters out there to let that happen.

we need to love our planet and take care of her… people need to become educated and aware of their surroundings and stop thinking about themselves and their money!!

people need to change…change is good!! we have to REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE or else there will be nothing left…

no where to stomp our feet in the mud, lay around on the grass or play with the pixiies in the forests :(

wake up and smell the flowers- at the rate we are going i dont think that they will be there forever!!

oh yes and i would reeeally loove a ticket to the Village please…. amped to party!!

    love you, bye <3

  30. Layla says:

The worlds not going to end (lets hope) but there is definetly going to be a huge shift in the universe. The way we live will have to change we need to accommodate mother earth before its too late. More growing of veggie gardens and planting of trees and less of poluting the earth with our materialistic mindsets.. BOOM VILLAGE :)

    • Tashreeq says:

A revolution would come about, change in the system, change in perspective and the way the human race views things. A change in the political system that cares for people and the environment. by means of Hemp and peace, that will put smiles on all faces. That change is needed because technology is progressing so fast. gotta appreciate our roots. :)

  31. Chrystal says:

Earth is the universe’s pride and joy – It wouldn’t end. A change is definitely in order – The direction translation of the event is a Time of Joy – so I’m looking forward. But until then a great time of joy for me right now would be my broke ass winning some tickets!!! :) )))

  32. Courtenay says:

The world isnt going to end or change. I just
want a free ticket to Village! Please Below the Lion :D

  33. weeks says:

change is inevitable. earth will not come to an end but life as we know it may.
the end of 2012 brings about a global transformation of consciousness. a huge shift of human perception toward an enlightened and aware way of living.

  35. Aidan says:

The world will continue. My visionsof events beyond 2013 tell me this. Looking forward to it :)

  36. Sarah Pearman-White says:

Well I’m hoping the world does not end, as I would like to finish off the season with a lot more parties, but if it shall end I’d be happy as I would have experienced my first Village :D this year has already changed for me and I must say it is the best change I could have ever asked for! So if I win the tickets I would seriously be the happiest person to face the end of the world! *Peace*Love*Happiness*

  37. Lauren Drake says:

the world cant end on the 21st december because its my birthday the next day.. so change is all thats left to happen :) and if i win tickets to the village it will change my life.. change my bank account status.. change the party.. change everything!.. but no free tickets im still there.. village here i comeeee!!!

  38. Jen says:

I do not think the world will change but as we are in a world that is constantly changing, it will change as it always has. But if the world were to end in 2012 I know I would want to have experienced village one last time.

  39. Catherine Guevara says:

    World ending?

  40. Catherine Guevara says:

world ending? i don’t believe it, but if it is to happen i cant think of a better way to end of the year with an unbelievable line up, wonderful people and the most amazing vibe imaginable. BRING IT
world changing? of course it shall change. the world is in a constant state of change, which is why at village we should all be in a constant state of trance <3 PLUR

  41. Damon Silk says:

No, i dont think he world is going to end, but it will change drasticly (for better or worse). I think the economy will come to stop and businesses will go bankrupt. only the rich will survive and the poorer will resolve to stealing, which will inevitably end in chaos. “Important people” (government officials, entrepreneurs, rich people) will either be living in luxury in thier secure house, or move to another unhabited planet, maybe mars. either that, or aliens are going finally show themselves on our planet and destroy everything or tell us that they are going to take over wether we like it or not. Noone really knows if it will end, but i say no…. PS, i really hope to get this ticket. :) Peace and Love

  42. kelly says:

The world won’t end but already its changed so much with this year being the pinnacle of it all. From people becoming more aware of the real problems in the world and finding real solutions. From the way we communicate and relate to eachother – for example even relationships are changing, gone are the days of distance and longing- love letters have been replaced by bbm and relationships have been replaced with hookups and online dating. Medically people are waking the f##k up to how natural medicines are not the enemy and even grandmothers are advocating the use and research of medical marijuana! Politically people are getting more involved and fighting for the truth and not taking the bullshit we were so easily! The internets changed! Hell- even I’ve changed. I would like to celebrate all the healthy change with my friends and trance family at this village celebration. Love to all

  43. June says:

This is just a time of transition from one world age into another, not the end. ♥

  44. Kelly says:

Nope. The world isnt going to end…well not in the traditional sense of the word.
You see, rumour has it that the Mayans predicted that The Village 2012 will be such a massive party that the combination of intense basslines and thousands of trance bunnies stomping in unison will throw the earth 13 degrees off its axis so that all parties after that will serve to intensify this inbalance thus culminating in the earth spinning off its axis entirely on the 21st of December this year throwing us all into a gigantic black hole which will transport the entire population into a whole other trancing realm!

    Well….that’s just what they say…

  45. Charley says:

We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of transition. As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth Changes. Humanity will continue, but in a different way. Material structures will change. From this we will have the opportunity to be more human. We are living in the most important era of man and prophecies. All the prophecies of the world, all the traditions are converging now. There is no time for games. The spiritual ideal of this era is action… so lets converge with our souls preparing for battle with spiritual stomping!!!

  46. Christopher says:

The world will not end, so relax, still a lot of Village parties for us in the future!

  47. Kirsten says:

Obviously the world is going to change, its inevitable, hopefully idiot poachers stop killing off all our endangered animals etc (come on, how gay does “the big 4″ sound)…. But I can guarantee that all your lives are going to change for the better if I get the tickets :P

  48. george williamson says:

yes the world will end if you dont give me the tickets :)

  49. Skye-Blue says:

I rate the world will not end… although some things might change for better or for worse.. lets party on!!

  50. Kait Barkai says:

The world as we know it is gonna end ~ I think we’re headed for an Ice Age ;)

  51. Jacques Le Roux says:

With everyone saying that the world will chance or end 2012/13, it will change probably not for the better, but it will

  52. Charley says:

We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of transition. 53. Greg Boyle says:

Not too sure about the world ending, but my liver on the other hand. . . Eish!

  54. Psy Pixie says:

Im not sure if the world is going to end, but I do think something is going to happen. Maybe we, as human beings, are going to reach a new level of collective consciousness (realizing that we are doing more damage to our planet than good) – or maybe we are meant to before the date of 21 Dec 2012 – ‘Judgement day’. This date also happens to be the day before my birthday (22 Dec) so if we are doomed that kinda sucks, SO keeping this in mind I would love these tickets as an early birthday present from Below the Lion, to party like it is potentially the last village there will be :) Best party of the year!

  55. Polo says:

From what I’ve learned there isn’t only one world, but an infinite amount of parallel realities, and according to what you set your vibration to, determines the world you experience. So while people who vibrate at a lower density will experience one kind of reality next year, be it a fearful one where the lower energy they project will be reflected back to them, or someone who vibrates at a higher level, who would experience a reality similar to those people that are part of this raising of consciousness movement. This shift though, the changes, will be, as it has been over the years, a gradual one. It has to be. If we completely shifted at once the change would be so great and powerful that we would literally blow our circuits, go into psychotic shock, we are not ready to experience change so great. This is partly why other civilizations have refrained from direct open contact up till now, most of us just aren’t psychologically ready to see them yet. Our eyes will only see what our minds are willing to comprehend. Even with the tremendous amount of evidence that they are here and have been here the entire time, with only the governments unwilling to acknowledge this, most still like to pretend we’re the only intelligent beings in the universe… Sorry I got off topic :P I must insist PLEASE all of you watch Thrive, it is the most important documentary you can see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEV5AFFcZ-s Anyways to answer the question no I do not think the world will end hehehe, the world as we have known it up till now ending though? Definitely :)

  56. Imogen Moon says:

I don’t think the world will end. I think it will change though. I do believe that a section of human beings are going to become more aware of the impact of pollution on our planet earth. I think that this section of people that know are going to do all that they can to save the earth before it’s destroyed. I feel that time is running out, and if people don’t become aware of the impact of the ever increasing technology on the earth, we’re not going to survive. I think that depending on the amount of people who are aware, the world will either be saved, or begin to tumble.
It’s important that the human race unites and converges into one, and stands up for mother nature. She is so powerful and can completely over rule us, we need to have respect.

  57. Barry Dylan says:

It doesn’t really matter if it ends because, to point out the obvious, if it ends then it ends.

If you are always worrying about the ‘what if’ then you’ll forget about the important stuff; the ‘what is’.

If you worry, you die. If you don’t worry, you still die. So why worry?

  58. Jack Agnew says:

Hopefully the end of old mindsets and the rise of fresh thought!! Spread the love. Below the Lion for Life!
    Irie ai!

  59. Jamie says:

The Universe will send positivity and enlightenment all over the planet. When 2012 comes to the end, the sky will rain with marijuana buds and everyone will smoke a fattie, war will end, everyone will be irie and we’ll all live happily ever after the end. :D

  60. Daniel says:

The world is definetly gonna change. It has to. And its not the first time either. The exact same thing happened to the atlanteans.

    Rebirth!!

  61. Vernon says:

Who knows what will happen, this is what makes the world an exciting place.

The changes that happen everyday, every second of every moment… Nothing is certain… It’s how we choose to take the moments we have as friends and party/live/embrace it all as if it was our last ….

    V

  62. Byron says:

Ofcourse its not going to end, unless Im given at least one of those tickets up for grabs ;)

Below the Lion and village the Gathering. You rock!

  63. Dominique Rollino says:

I don’t think the world will end because it’s forever changing. why would it go through all the change if it was just going to end???
besides, if it does end I’ll be a little peeved because I won’t get to move to Vietnam next year to change my world!

  64. Justin says:

My World will change if I could get the epic chance to win a ticket!!! peace

  65. Andrew says:

If the world is ending then we better party as such. getting ready for the no.1 trance event of the year, in my opinion. would really love a free ticket.

  66. Zuhri says:

Who knows whether or not the world will end its is however quite apparent that people are waking up so to speak, more and more people are becoming concious of what is trully important, what trully makes us happy becoming concious of a new way of living, one where we aknowledge our limitless potential and endless possibilities allowing us to thrive as individuals, yet nurture and explore that which connects us all. So maybe some huge meteor or some other major disater will hit earth and destroy us all and the world will end, or maybe there’ll be some major dimensional shift and those that were ready will move on to some new way of life, or different world entirely, who will ever know, till it happens if anything doese even, i think part of all of this what ever may be happening is to stop worrying about all the little bits negativity around us, of what is to come and what we’ve done and become aware of the endless beauty and light all around us however subtle the ways in which it shows itself live in that and only that do your work to make everything about that and let that be our guide. Love And Light.

  67. FYvalleymassive says:

Revolt on a global scale- minoroties and upperclass targeted, war for rothschild control in North Korea and iran, UN bailouts and huge debt on a global scale, microchips , psychedelic becoming pop culture and losing its depth, another IPhone

Maybe the end isn’t so bad eh?
I need to smash a fat one after that ha
I’m no weekend hippie idealist, I’m a realist with a passion for psychedelics GIVE ME THAT TICKET !! Ek se

  68. Cheesecake says:

The world is constantly changing, and we are a part of it… Time to be a positive influence in the lives of people around you!
    Peace

  69. Redeye mike says:

My hangover will make me think the world has ended lol

  70. Anonymous says:

In the last days of mankind a flood of Coca-cola shall cover the earth. It will begin with the discovery of Coke’s secrect recipe on ancient website.
The site’s creation read 12 June 70 AD – before the creation of internet itself.

People shall begin creating Coca-Cola in their bathtubs, their fishponds, their swimming pools – resulting in an unrivalled spike in Coke consumption. The high blood sugar levels shall drive people into a frenzy and they shall cease to sleep. Instead, during the hours of night, they shall create more and more Coke until its awash ankle deep in the black fluid.

It shall eat at the foundations of building causing them to collapse. Mountains shall erode over-night, trees shall die and animals unused to consuming refined sugars shall dart around like cartoons.

  71. star dust says:

There will be change.. Change in the way that people see life, the way we live.. It would take something extremely great to put this planet to rest.. And I think it’s not Earth’s time :) maybe the legalisation of marijuana will bring about this change :) who knows hey? Patience is a virtue <3

  72. phil says:

The world is ending as we know it, change is inevitable. For too long has there been people in power lying to the masses, all this will change with a global change of mindset. the wheel is rolling we must help it forward !! sign the re-legalization of dagga in South africa petition forms and do your part! we must get everyone to see the facts for a change to happen. keep it green and help reform this beautiful planet by planting a ganja tree today! pls give a homie a ticket so i cn go spread some smiles!

  73. Robin Tamlin says:

I’m not too sure about the world ending anytime soon. but one day in the future something will cease to exist which will distrupt the worlds ecosystem and cause a huge chain of events that will end in total chaos! So until that day I plan to live life to the fullest and stomp all the way to the very end!

  74. Shana Grobler says:

How do we know. Who won?

  75. Ryan says:

It is impossible to say whether the world will end/change. the only certainty is that i’m going to the village.

  76. Stephen says:

“Do you think the world will end/change in 2012?”

I have bought a ticket for The Village because i cannot wait and see if the world is gunna end or not! if by god the world did end and i did not go to The Village it will not be worth it and i shall forever be incomplete! But 2 of my good mates dont have tickets and they are apart of me so there shall be a small void in myself f they do not experience this “out of this world” experience! The world is forever changing and we as humans are forever adapting to its harsh changes, i want to be free under the stars and watch the sun rise above the fentershoek hills and live the life we all desire! To just be free of all hypocrisies! Peace, Love, Unity and Respect
